The place where we produce our products with great passion and dedication is in the heart of the country, more precisely in Alba Iulia. Our brand was born from the desire to offer our customers products with a modern design, using the best quality raw materials.
1991
At the beginning, the company's activity consisted of the production of ornamental and decorative items produced in small quantities, which were then sold on the intern market.
1996
It brought the first major change in the approach to the sales strategy, the company starting a business relationship with the Swedish concern IKEA, for which it started to produce more and more, from year to year.
2000
The first robot was installed, and IPEC became a world pioneer in ceramic technology.
2005
The company produces 1.7 million pieces per month (about 20 million pieces annually), which represents 1% of the world production of plates.
2017
IPEC has reached the third world producer of plates.
2020
The company has invested in new technologies, new automations, production flows are optimized and modified. The factory is 80 percent automated.
2023
The company has over 50 preparation mills, 2 atomizers for the production of atomized powder, 20 isostatic presses, 10 firing furnaces, 30 glazing machines and over 350 industrial robots.
